Since 1979, El Faro Plaza has become Los Angeles’s premiere indoor market, featuring over 250 vendors, crafters, artists from all over the world, a true mix of Angelenos.  This swap meet is a one-stop shopping center offering a wide variety of stores, food vendors, and entertainment to suit all your needs. And all at a great price! From foot massages to car window tinting, from lingerie to quinceanera dresses, from exotic birds to televisions, we have it all under one giant roof.

Come bring your family out for a day filled with entertainment, great food and shopping.  Weekends offer live music and pony rides. It is a place where people of all ages can gather to share their cultural diversity with pride and friendliness.

Where exactly is El Faro Plaza?

Located in the heart of Vernon, CA on the corner of Vernon Ave and Alameda Street, El Faro Plaza is just 3 miles southeast of Downtown Los Angeles, in the Central-Alameda area of Los Angeles. The area is bordered by the City of Vernon to the east, Huntington Park to the South and Downtown Los Angeles to the north.

There is convenient access to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The Alameda Transportation Corridor is a 20 mile freight rail “expressway” connecting the national rail system near Downtown Los Angeles to the ports, running parallel to Alameda Street.  We are a 7 minute drive due south of the American Apparel Warehouse which located 2.2 miles north on the same street, Alameda Street.
